I simply didn't buy enough stamps....
As I sit here tonight, very aware of God's ability to provide I am thinking of a few different things, but the one that is the easiest to say to you all is this....I simply didn't buy enough stamps. Three weeks ago, the day after Easter, I bought 50 stamps to send out support letters to friends and family. I decided at the last minute to buy a few extra in order to have on hand for thank you notes. I mean, I figured that I am leaving it up to God, and he would give me at least one donor, right? Well, little did I know how quickly he would provide. At exactly three weeks into my support raising, I am almost half way to my goal of $8,000. I am overwhelmed, overjoyed, and amazed. I honestly don't know if I have ever felt so many adjectives at the same time! I cannot put into words how amazing this whole process has been thus far. Already, without even packing a bag, I have had to trust the Lord on a daily basis. I have had to lean into his love, and rest with the knowledge that this is what he is calling me to. I cannot wait to see where this journey is going to end up, but I know one thing for sure----that I will have to depend on his grace every single day and tomorrow, I will need to buy more stamps.
